Terms of use

The terms you are agreeing to.

Short version: the site tells you what we do and lets you get started. The legal work itself is governed by the engagement agreement you sign, not by this page.

Using this site

By using estateplansforlife.com you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, do not use the site.

You agree to give accurate information, to use the site for your own planning rather than to resell or scrape it, and not to interfere with how it operates.

What the site is

The site describes our services, publishes general educational material, and lets you begin the intake for a plan. The content here is general information about estate planning in Florida. It is not legal advice about your situation and should not be relied on as though it were.

When representation begins

An attorney-client relationship is created only when a written engagement agreement is signed and any required payment is made. Submitting a form, starting an intake, or speaking with us in a free consult does not by itself create one.

Fees and payment

Prices shown on the products pages are the prices for those services as listed. Married pricing covers both spouses. Additional services, such as recording fees charged by a county, are separate where noted.

Payment is taken before drafting begins unless we have agreed otherwise in writing.

Refunds

[Placeholder — confirm your refund policy wording, including how far into the drafting process a refund is available, before publication.]

Your responsibilities

The documents we prepare are built from the information you give us. If that information is incomplete or wrong, the documents will reflect it. You are responsible for reviewing your drafts, telling us about changes in your circumstances, and keeping beneficiary designations on accounts up to date, since those pass outside your will.

Third-party services

Parts of the process are delivered through third-party platforms, including the intake platform and the online notarization provider. Those services have their own terms, which apply to your use of them.

Intellectual property

The text, design and structure of this site belong to Estate Plans for Life. The documents prepared for you are yours to use for your own planning.

Limitation of liability

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of this website. Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law or professional rules.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Florida.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version is always the one posted here, with the date shown above.
